Is there an age limit?

Yes, you must be minimum 18 years old

 

Can I arrive any day during the week?

No, all arrivals and departures are on a Saturday

 

How can I get from Johannesbourg to Hoedspruit?

Do I need any vaccination?

No, but we recommend to take an anti-malaria treatment. Contact your doctor for advice and/or see website www.malaria.org.za

 

Where will I be accommodated?

You will be sleeping in a chalet in the main camp, or in our house. You might have to share your room with other volunteers.

 

Do I need to take travel insurance?

Yes it is very important, we will ask you a copy of your travel insurance and their details in case of emergency

 

Do I need a visa?

You will be automatically given a 3 months tourist visa on your arrival at the Johannesburg Airport. If you need to stay longer with us, you can apply for an extension at the home affairs office for a minimal fee.
